Student Of The Month - 2017
For over 60-years, the Ellwood City Lions Club has honored an Ellwood City
Lincoln High School student on a monthly basis.
This year's recipients are:
December - DIA NEUPAUER. The Ellwood City Lions Club honored Dia Neupauer as the December Student
Of The Month at their last meeting at the Connoquenessing Country Club. A senior at Lincoln High School, Dia is an honor
student member of the National Honor Society, Student Council treasurer and a member of Peer Leadership and Caring Team clubs.
The Ellwood City Lions Club presented Dia with the Student Of The Month Certificate and a $200 donation towards her future studies

November - GRACE BLAKE. A senior at Lincoln High School, Grace has been very involved and held officer
positions in the Club Hope, Save Club, Caring Team, EC³ and Recreational Softball. The Ellwood City Lions Club honored Grace
as the November Student Of The Month and presented her with a $200 donation towards her future studies in Nursing / Pediatric Studies

October - AINSLEY STEIN. The Ellwood City Lions Club honored Ainsley Stein as the October Student
Of The Month. A senior at Lincoln High School, Ainsley is a member of the National Honor Society, French Club, Peer Leadership
and Writing Club. She is a member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses church. Ainsley was presented with a Student
Of The Month Certificate and a $200 donation towards her future studies in Mathematics. (Pictured from left: Ainsley's mother Katie Stein,

September - KATELYN COLE. A senior at Lincoln High School, Katelyn is a member of the National Honor Society
and loves music, playing her trumpet for the Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band and performs in the Drama Club. She is
also a team Captain on the traveling Softball Team. Katelyn is a member of The Holy Redeemer Catholic Church where she volunteers
in the Bible School, Carpenter's Project, Annual Bazaar, Youth Ministry, Worship Committee and Bell Choir. The Ellwood City Lions
Club honored Katelyn with a Student Of The Month Certificate and a $200 donation towards her future studies in Cybersecurity.

May - ANGELO WILLIAMS. A senior at Lincoln High School, Angelo is an outstanding mathematical student
with passion for research. In addition to being a member of the National Honor Society he is a member of the Varsity Basketball
team, Envirothon Club, Spanish Club, German Club and History Club. The Ellwood City Lions Club honored Angelo Williams
as the May Student Of The Month at their last meeting at the Connoquenessing Country Club. He was presented with a Student
Of The Month Certificate and a $100 donation towards his future studies in Mathematics, Engineering or

April - DOMINIC NOCERA. The Ellwood City Lions Club honored Dominic Nocera as the April Student
Of The Month at their last meeting at the Connoquenessing Country Club. A senior at Lincoln High School with a 4.0 gpa,
Dominic is a member of the National Honor Society, Peer Leadership, Student Council and Club Hope. He is also a student
athlete, playing tennis on the high school team, and a student musician performing for numerous groups. Dominic plays
a piano and a trumpet and sings with the Concert Choir, Choral Capers, Marching, Jazz and Pep Bands. He is an altar server
at The Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and volunteers for the Carpenter's Project. The Lions presented Dominic with a Student
Of The Month Certificate and a $100 donation towards his future studies in Biomedical Engineering. (Pictured from left:

March - ZAIN ANSARI. The Ellwood City Lions Club honored Zain Ansari as the March Student
Of The Month at their last meeting at the Connoquenessing Country Club. A senior at Lincoln High School with a 4.0 gpa,
Zain is a member of the National Honor Society, French Club and Mentoring Club. He is also a student athlete who plays
Tennis and runs Cross Country for the high school teams, while volunteering as an assistant coach of the elementary cross country
team. The Lions presented Zain with a Student Of The Month Certificate and a $100 donation towards his future studies

February - ETHAN FOTIA. The Ellwood City Lions Club honored Ethan Fotia as the February Student
Of The Month at their last meeting at the Connoquenessing Country Club. A senior at Lincoln High School, Ethan is a
member of the National Honor Society, History Club and German Club. Ethan is an honor student athlete with passion
for mathematics and basketball, proportionally equal at this time. The Lions presented Ethan with a Student Of The Month Certificate
and a $100 donation towards his future studies in mathematics, either engineering or actuary science. (Pictured from left: Parents Joseph

January - MEGAN SIEGFRIED. A senior at Lincoln High School, Megan is an outstanding student with
passion for sports. In addition to being a member of the National Honor Society and Peer Leadership, Megan loves to
play volleyball and softball, as she's been a member of those school teams for 4-yrs. During the summer, she volunteers
with The Carpenters Project. The Lions presented Megan with a Student Of The Month Certificate and a $100 donation towards
